The format

Everyone starts at 10:00 AM and everything closes at 12:00 PM. Two timers are on screen all the time: one for the whole Hackathon and one for the round you are in.

  1. Round 1

    Quick Case Studies

    4 brand-new short HR cases, 16 decisions

    20 min

  2. Round 2

    Real HR Cases

2 new cases from publicly reported events, 10 decisions

    20 min

  3. Round 3

    HR KPI Based Case Studies

RainTech Digital World: 10 questions on its HR dashboard

    20 min

  4. Round 4

    HR Simulation

    2 new companies × 7 years, 30 minutes each

    60 min

Finish early and move on: time you save in a round is added to the next one. Only the 10:00 AM start and the 12:00 PM close are fixed for everyone (120 minutes in all). The lobby opens at 9:30 AM, and late entry is allowed until 10:30 AM.

How scoring works

Scores are out of 100, worked out automatically on our servers. Case decisions earn partial credit, so a reasonable answer earns something, and the best answer fits the facts of the case.

Round 120
Round 220
Round 320
Round 440
Total100

Ties: the higher Round 4 score, then the higher Round 3 score, then the shorter total time.

Fair play

  • One account per verified mobile number, and one attempt.
  • Questions and options are shuffled for each player; the server keeps the time.
  • Your work must be your own: no help from others, AI tools or answer-sharing groups.
  • Top-ranked participants may get a short call to explain their decisions.
  • All companies in the cases are fictional, except the Real HR Cases.
